15-Dec-2002 Feature on i:vibes

I:vibes has published a feature about us. In a one-page-overview they tell the public what we did in the last 4 years. In the same article they reviewed "God saw the light" and rated it 6.5/10. If you keep in mind that the editors there are dealing with official record releases every day and thus are demanding high standards in trance music this rating is not bad at all. A big thank you must go out to Dino (Dym).

29-Nov-2002 New mp3 track "God saw the light"

Finally there´s something new out from us. You surely remember Neil Armstrong´s legendary quote from the bibel that he aired from the moon back to earth. We took this recording and embedded it into trance beats, bright pads and powerful hooks. This song spent a long time since summer 2001 unreleased in our archive and finally we decided to spice it up for a release. We hope that you like this tune. 28-Nov-2002 Keely "Flashbang" comes with TbO&Vega Remix

The upcoming single by the finnish Artist Keely will contain a remix from us. The record will be released by EMTDesign soon. We will give you more information when the record is available.

20-Oct-2002 Trance Unity Remix appears on sampler

Recently we were informed that Giorgio Ponticelli´s Track "Tranceunity" in the TbO&Vega remix version has been placed on a very cool sampler. Well sounding names like Timo Maass feat. MC Chickaboo, Marco V, Starsplash, Emanuel Top and others are on this sampler and we´re proud that our remix is part of this excellent compilation. 22-Jul-2002 New mp3 track "Moonlight Shadow (2002 trance remake)" online

This is an electronic cover version of the all time classic song by Mike Oldfield. In comparison to other contemporary Coverversions of that track we have dropped to vocals. We have made a completely new interpretation to that one. Modern trance beats, phat 303-lines and a killer lead melody make this one a real earcatcher. It´s speed of 140 bpm fit perfectly in avery trance-DJ-set. We hope you like it. Visit our mp3-page for download.

'Unity of Earth' has reveiced it´s first review at the home of that tune at trance.nu. Our remix has been rated the most innovative remix that sounds 'almost halfway to Push’s style, just a bit deeper and catchier'. The review ends just with a 'Two thumbs up!' - that´s an honour to us! 07-Jul-2002 'Unity of Earth 2002' is out!

What in late autumn 2000 was produced as a theme for the upcoming website Trance.nu now, in 2002, finally see a full release. Our thanks must go to EMTDesign for making 'The Scarab vs. Inzite - Unity of earth 2002' on Vinyl possible!
The Scarab alias Jesper Söderlund is also knows as Airbase as which he is signed to Alphabet City, a german top dance label. As well as the original our remix was meant only as a contibution to the trance.nu community too but emt licensed it the day after we had published a pre-version to the people on trance.nu. We have also a remix by finnish trance star cosmic man whose 'I love you' may still still sound in your ears. And finally we could win Shane54 (BMG/Warner), the hungarian producer that remixed Madonna.

Actually the record is not available in Recordstores outside Finland. It is being distributed exclusively in Helsinki´s record store www.streetbeat.ac. You can place international orders on their website an pay by credit card or contact them via email.

28-Mrz-2002 'Unity of Earth 2002' Remix has been licensed by a finnish record company!

The remix of the trance.nu theme 'Unity of earth 2002' which we published about a week ago brought us a lot of positive feedback. What we didn´t know last week was that the new finnish label EMTdesign was already in the production stage for an official release of this song. Our remix impressed these guys so much that they contacted us immediately and said that they want this remix for the release! Now the remix contract is signed and the master recording is on it´s way to finnland.
For you this means that we cannot offer the remix in it´s original form anymore. But we settled an agreement that we are allowed to published a different, shorter version on the net. The shortened version is still 5 minutes and was remastered. You can find it in our mp3 section. We´ll keep you updated about the record!

22-Mrz-2002 Amiga Speaking (Radio Version) is top!

Our tune 'Amiga Speaking (Radio Version)' has successfully climbed the charts of the german music portal mp3.de and was overall no.1 yesterday.

20-Mrz-2002 TbO&Vega remix the official trance.nu hymn

Do you know www.trance.nu? That is one of the biggest international community of trance music fans. Since January 30th, 2002 this community - which is based in sweden - has it´s very own official theme tune. That hymn was composed by Airbase vs. Inzite and is named 'Unity of Earth 2002'. They published the original song´s MIDI-data file and invited everyone in the community to try a remix. And simply because the original song itself is outstanding we didn´t need to be asked twice.

Unity of Earth 2002 (TbO&Vega Remix) is our interpretation of this hymn. Besides the reason sound sources and it´s sampler, which we filled with high quality pro samples we also used sounds by the Access Virus b and the Waldorf Pulse synthesizers.
The result is an highly energetic mix that we would call an absolutely delicious goodie for every trance lover! The links to audio streams and downloads are available in the mp3 menu!

15-Mar-2002 www.tbo-vega.de has a new look / Reason 2.0 /ReWire Tutorial

After we closed our site last week you may have had an idea about the new look of www.tbo-vega.de. The Screen telling you that we would be back on march, 15th showed the new colors and fonts. Now, finally we´re online with the new site design in which we invested a lot of work. We thought time had come to say goodbye to that dark, not very friendly looking design. That´s why we re-programmed every single page of this site from scratch, sorted and re-worked the contents and gave us this new look. Soon this site will also be accessible by surfing to www.tbo-vega.com - the domain is already ordered!

For the musicians among you this may be interesting. On their site the Propellerheads announced Reason 2.0 for the second quarter 2002. Besides a new synth-monster named 'Malström' there´ll be an extended Sampler-Unit, tempo-synchronous LFO´s, 32Bit-Sample-Support, an Extra-CD with extra high quality orchestral sounds and more improvements. Also for the musicians among our visitors we have set up a german ReWire Tutorial. Hmm, maybe this is not very interesting for those who can´t understand german. We translated and extended the official tutorial provided by the propellerheads. If you want to read the original one you can find it here. We shot our own graphics and extended that one to four stages from simple Reason-integration into a VST-Environment over isolating single instrument out of a Reason setup up to adding VST-Instruments, external sound sources and finally the master file. 09-Jan-2002 See and hear how we welcome the new year

At first: We wish you all a happy new year and all the best for 2002!!
	Also, we can now inform you that we have taken part in an official remix contest run by the german record Label Boost records, owned by Claus Pieper, a member of the well known and respected musicians 'Genlog'.
Well, the competition was to remix 'Trance Unity' by Giorgio Ponticelli and we didn´t win the competition but we placed 2nd which means that our remix will be out on vinyl very soon! Promotion and advertising for the vinyl has already started. You can take a look at the competition page here and listen to the winner remixes here. The promotion is running quite good and reports say that the record is being played by some very famous DJ´s live and on air!! We´ll keep you updated how the record does it and how or where to order it!

But these are not the only good news. We haven´t been lazy and are now proud to present you the first release of 2002. And it´s not a usual release. This time we come out with a song that we can present you in 4 different versions. Prepare yourself for some more MB to download than normal ;-)
	Amiga Speaking: This track contains Vocals that have been recorded using a classic Amiga 500 homecomputer. It´s a track that´s placed between melodic and progressive trance with modern euro trance sounds that are up to date.
